High School Seniors
High school seniors - apply to be considered for an Imagine America scholarship:

John G. Williams Scholarship Loan
Availability/Requirements: Provides financial assistance to PA residents in a low interest loan. Visit www.jgwfoundation.org for more information.

PA New Economy Technology Scholarship Program
Availability/Requirements: This scholarship is available to Pennsylvania high school graduates enrolled in a technology-based program. Visit www.pheaa.org for more information.

Tylenol Scholarship   
Availability/Requirements: Tylenol is offering $250,000 in scholarships to students pursuing careers in healthcare. Visit www.tylenol.com for more information.

 

Grants

Grants DO NOT have to be repaid. Grants are tax dollars at work. Grants are available to qualified students.

Pell Grants
Range from $555 to $5,550 per academic year for those that qualify.

Pennsylvania Residents Grants (PHEAA)*
The amount of your award is based on your family's actual financial and non-financial circumstances.
* Available only for students in certain programs greater than 12 months in length.

Student Loans

Students may borrow loans to obtain a college education. Dependent students may borrow up to $5,500 their first academic year. Independent students may borrow up to $9,500 their first academic year. Repayment starts six months after the last date of attendance - minimum monthly payment is based on the total amount borrowed.

 

Payment Plans

Interest-free payment plans may be available to assist students/parents in spreading the educational investment over a greater period of time (no more than 12 months). Please contact a City College Financial Aid Advisor to develop your payment plan.
